MemarFilm is the company of filmmaker, photographer, journalist and poet Massoud Memar. Born in Iran in 1954 he wrote for various newspapers and magazines in Teheran, he studied film in Paris, and he has been living as a political refugee in The Netherlands since 1994.
His movies are a mixture of documentary and poetry, filled with powerful imagery and filmed across the globe. Massoud Memar has won awards for both films and photography.
His most recent photo book is called ‘Women of the World’.
